Dear Customers,
We are in unprecedented times. With the COVID-19 outbreak, important steps are being taken globally and locally, including us here at Penticton Collision Centre.
At PCC, the health and safety of our team members, customers and communities where we live and serve is of utmost importance to us. Within PCC, we have been proactive in an attempt to protect the health and safety of our team members and customers. We are following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other relevant regulatory authorities.
We are asking the following from our clients:
- Please call ahead to reschedule if you have just returned from international or trans border travels.
- If you are showing any signs of a flu or cold, we are sorry, but we would prefer to reschedule your repairs for a later date, just call and we will be happy to assist.
- Please note if your vehicle is non-drivable due to an accident or is a priority but you have travelled or are in isolation – please call and we can work with you, as in the best and safest way to get your vehicle to the shop and repaired asap. Our priority is to keep our clients mobile in these times of uncertainty.
- Please look inside the office door to see if we are helping another customer, if so please wait in your vehicle and we will be out to assist you as soon as we are able. One customer at a time in the office till further notice.
- Please respect social distancing with the staff.
- Please limit your touching of products and surfaces in the office to a minimum.
Typically, in times of emergency, gas stations and auto supply, auto repair and related facilities are considered essential businesses because people need to be able to operate their vehicles during such times. Indeed, the recent orders in California and Pennsylvania specifically called out auto-repair as an essential business. As such, if our customers are open and requiring their vehicles repaired, we are set up to continue helping individuals repair their vehicles, as we will continue to operate as needed to make such repairs.
Also, importantly, we are communicating regularly with our key suppliers to help ensure product availability and sourcing options in the event certain geographies are unable to produce or ship parts. At present, we believe our current inventory levels and strategic sourcing decisions will help us mitigate any disruption to our business and allow us to continue servicing our customers.
We remain committed to serving our customers and are confident we are implementing precautionary measures to promote the health and safety of all involved. We look forward to continuing to serve you as we navigate these difficult times.
Stay safe,
Penni, Doug and our crew at Penticton Collision
